Shing Chan Appointed Chief Information Officer

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Shing Chan as our Chief Information Officer. A true pioneer in artificial intelligence and data science, Shing brings a wealth of experience in AI, quantitative analysis, and advanced technology, making him a vital addition to our leadership team. His vision and expertise will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and shape the future of our industry.

Shing holds a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering, where his focus was on generative AI applied to probabilistic modeling and simulation. During his research at the University of Oxford, he leveraged deep learning techniques to extract predictive signals from high-frequency time series in healthcare data, further solidifying his position as a leader in AI innovation. His exceptional background in both physical sciences and AI uniquely positions him to drive our technological strategy forward with insight, precision, and foresight.

A native of Paraguay, Shing is the highest-performing participant, to date, in the history of the International Mathematical Olympiad in his home country, having earned its only silver medal. This achievement speaks to his exceptional problem-solving abilities and intellectual rigor, qualities that he brings to every project and initiative he leads.
